No fear
Our full name is Cape Fear Images, Inc. Our company is
named for nearby Cape Fear, as well as for the Cape Fear River, which
flows through Wilmington and gives its name to North Carolina's
Southeastern coastal region. We have shortened the name of our online
store to take the "Fear" out of "Cape Fear Images." We also take the
"fear" out of ordering custom-designed, personalized products online.
Let us show you what we can do for you!
Online name change
Some customers have noticed that our web site seems to have two
domain names: "cfimages.com" and "capeimages.com". When we first got on the
web in the 1990s, we chose "cfimages.com" as our domain name. But that name wasn't
easy for customers to remember, so we obtained the new domain "capeimages.com" in
2003. When we "migrated" our site to the new domain, we kept the old name in use
as well, so as not to leave behind old links and bookmarks.
Our publications
Cape Fear Images is also in the publishing business. We produce a guide
to event planning in the Cape Fear Coast region of North Carolina.
Cape Fear Wedding is a wedding planning guidebook, published
twice a year. While primarily aimed at couples planning Wilmington-area weddings, it
is full of useful advice for brides-to-be anywhere. The book's full content is online.
