How to Order
Choose the products you like and decide how many
you want. Choose any sample wording you see on ANY card. Or make up
your own. You can use any of the designs for birth announcements,
birthday invitations, showers, christening, anniversaries, weddings,
or any special occasion.
Our secure Shopping Cart system gives you step-by-step
options to help you select the exact features you want. It also includes
text-entry boxes to enter the wording for your product and give us any
special instructions about how to handle your order.
If your order requires you to send a file to us -- such
as a photo, logo, text document, mailing-list spreadsheet, etc. -- attach
the file to an email and send it to images@capeimages.com.
Be sure to include your name and order number in your email.
Checking your order status
When you place your order, our online Shopping Cart system
gives you an order number and password. You can log in to our secure system
any time to see where your order is in our production process. If we are waiting
for a mailed payment or an emailed photo, for example, this will show in the
"status" box. If you still have questions, of course, please feel free to call
or email us.
Shipping Information
When your order has been produced, it will be
shipped via UPS at our discounted rate. At the "check-out" stage of placing
your order, you may choose your preferred shipping method (ground, second-day
air or next day air.) In most cases, we recommend ground shipping. This will
save you money but still get your product to you by the date you need it.
You can always request a faster method if you prefer.
Typically, an order shipped by UPS ground will reach
most points in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern states in one to two
days; three to four days to the Northeast and Midwest. Ground shipping to
the West Coast takes six or seven days. For short turn-around orders, we
recommend second-day air to the West Coast.
Shipping rates shown on your checkout order are estimates
based on product weights. Occasionally, special circumstances may require
a rate adjustment. For example: "dimensional weight" charges for oversize
packages when plastic bottles are shipped by air. Or a faster level of
service may be needed to get your products to you by the date of your event.
All shipments are trackable and guaranteed. Saturday delivery
is available, if necessary, for an extra charge. Call for details.
We must have a street address for shipping. UPS cannot deliver
to Post Office boxes.
ABOUT RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY: UPS policy states that its delivery
drivers have discretion about whether to leave a package if nobody is home. If
the driver believes there is a danger of theft or damage if the package is left
unattended, the driver will leave you a form with instructions to request redelivery
or pick up your package at a UPS office. Please take this into consideration if
your delivery schedule is critical. Please call us if you have any questions

Turnaround time
We guarantee timely receipt of all orders
shipped by UPS, or a complete refund. Because most of our products
are hand-crafted we cannot just ship your order the same day the
order is placed. Birth orders are turned
around in 1 to 5 days. Weddings and other events may take from
10 to 14 days depending on the quantity and when you need the
product. It is usually not a problem to get them to you earlier
than that if necessary to fit your planning schedule. Just call
us, email or indicate
on your order form the date you need them by.
If you require an extremely short turnaround time,
we may require a "rush" charge of $10 or more to move your order
ahead of other customers. You may also speed
up turnaround time by choosing next day or second day shipping. SEE:

Certain products, including chocolate coins and machine-
finished seed packets, may take three weeks or more to produce.
A note about perishable products:
We are sometimes asked to ship products such as
candy or seeds months in advance of when they will be needed.
While we will certainly do all we can to meet
your wishes, we don't recommend getting these products too soon.
Candies will deteriorate, especially in hot weather, and we don't
want your friends and family to have an unpleasant experience. Just
as you wouldn't want the cake delivered three months ahead of the
wedding date, you wouldn't want to serve stale candies as favors.
Likewise, we obtain our flower and herb seeds
for the current season to ensure that they will sprout and grow
properly.
It is best to order early, however, to ensure
availability of the products you want and to avoid rush charges.
We will schedule production of your order to ensure the work is
done carefully, your products are fresh, and you have them in plenty
of time.

Custom Orders
Don't see what you're looking for? Chances are
excellent that we can accommodate your request. Custom designs are
our specialty. Existing products can be changed to accommodate themes
or you can help us invent a new product! Please ... call us! Real
people work here and we're always ready to help.
Proofs
You are entitled to two proofs free of charge. Additional
proofs will be $5 each. Proofs are sent by email or fax.
Carefully review all aspects of your proof before responding. Read
the text on your proof out loud and if possible have a second pair
of eyes carefully review it. This makes catching errors easier.
Please make all your corrections at once, being as descriptive as
possible. If you are sent a proof and do not catch a mistake we cannot
be responsible for the error. You may waive, in writing, your right to
receive a proof in writing, however we will not take responsibily for
the final product in such cases. All sales are final when customers
choose not to receive a proof.

Returns and Cancellations
If a product is shipped and does not match the final
approved proof, then we will reprint your order and ship it at no cost to you.
Please note: If you signed off on a proof we faxed
or emailed to you, and a mistake was not caught, then we cannot redo
it free. If your order was placed online and you misspelled something
on the order form, we cannot be responsible for that error.
A restocking fee will be assessed to all
wedding bulletin orders that are cancelled. The restocking fee will be
equal to 35% of the order amount.
Design charges and photo processing fees are not
refundable on canceled orders. Any unique design work not using standard,
posted templates will be assessed a rate of $50/hour before any refund is
issued.

Pricing on cards includes envelopes.
Wording in the catalog is only suggested; any phrasing can be used.
We have several products that use your photograph.
Color photos can be scanned in black and white or color, but some
products -- such as metallic foil wine labels -- are printed in black-and-white only.
You can email a digital photo or mail us a photo print. There is an $8
fee for processing any photo, digital or print. Please be sure the photo is
clear, in focus and properly exposed. All photo prints are returned unharmed
with your order.
Major unique design work, not using existing templates, is
subject to a custom design rate of $50 per hour at our discretion. We will notify
you before proceeding if your requests require such extensive design work.
