The gift of fine art is accessible and affordable for anyone. We'll
create an original portrait from your photograph. Our chief designer has academic training in both fine and graphic arts and
has been creating ink and pencil portraits on commission for 30 years.
After many years of personalizing clients'
life events, we thought we should introduce our co-owner and president's true talent. Kate Meyer, who created most of the
unique designs you see on our website, has been an artist since she was old enough to walk.
Kate majored in Art and Mass Communications and put herself through college by drawing portraits.
|

She is delighted to be able to offer this talent to the public.
On this page you can see examples of her recent work. These include portraits of some famous folks so
you can get an idea of how realistically she captures the subject's likeness.
Just send a decent sized photo by email. "The photo does not have to be
huge," Kate says. "As long as I can clearly see the subject's eyes it should work. I always start with the eyes -- once I get
those right, the rest is easy. But sometimes I'll spend hours on just the eyes!"

An original portrait makes a wonderful gift in honor of a birthday, a
retirement or an anniversary. Optional matting and framing service is available.
